Downstairs is open plan with a fully equipped new kitchen and cosy living/dining area, cloakroom/toilet and private garden. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with views across Dartmoor and an en-suite bathroom/wet room.

The Old Smithy is set is a secluded valley on the river Tavy. It is a mile from the nearest road, down a private track through beautiful moorland and woodland. The Forge is a unique place full of character set at the edge of Dartmoor and only 2 miles from the market town of Tavistock. The Forge is a great place for cyclists and walkers, or if you just want to get away from it all. The Cornish Coast is not far and the city of Plymouth full of history is just a short car journey. Tavistock has the markets and lovely cafes and restaurants. The Forge has a log burner to snuggle up next too on those chilly evenings and a garden to enjoy.

We are offering a lovely 1 bed, fully self contained apartment with its own access. It is a quaint property in the heart of Tavistock town centre. There is room for one vehicle on the main drive. There is a self contained kitchen, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Dartmoor is only 5 minutes up the road for lovely walks. Plymouth is 15 miles away if you wanted the city vibes. There is off road parking and there is also a small court yard to sit outside.

We are located 2 miles from the historic town of Tavistock, 3 miles from spectacular Dartmoor and from popular mountain bike trails, making this a great destination for walkers, runners and cyclists.

Moor Retreat- Within Dartmoor National Park

SITUATION AND DESCRIPTION A delightfull Apartment tucked into a quiet corner in a small village on Dartmoor's western fringe. Dousland lies just to the east of the larger centre of Yelverton where there is a selection of shops including a supermarket, butchers, doctor's surgery, post office, garage, hairdressers, pharmacy, public house and estate agent! Dousland borders open moorland with Burrator reservoir within a couple of miles.

Entire bungalow — 5 minutes walk to the moors!

Our recently refurbished bungalow is within 5 minutes walk of Whitchurch Down and the vast expanse of Dartmoor. We are a 20-minute walk into Tavistock or 5 minutes by bus/car. There's a dog shower so should your best friend get muddy whilst on the moor, it is easy to get them clean! There is fast broadband available and smart TVs in the lounge and bedroom. There is a local pub and village shop within 5 minutes walk.
