Cabin with camping sites & firepit included! Our 10x10' cabin is nestled a 1/2 km into the forest on 260 beautiful acres. Experience off-grid life with just enough amenities to be comfortable. Grill food at the fire pit, hike, or cozy up to the woodstove and watch the wildlife wander by. A booking is for the whole location, and you decide who gets the cabin (sleeps 2) and who brings the tents. A 2nd 'bunk' cabin, for an additional fee, is always available for your extra guests. (Please note that after July 1, 2022, HST is included in the listing price) Located 30 km north of Kingston, the "Rock, Pine and Sunlight" cottage offers a quiet retreat for travellers and city folk looking to refresh and experience the great outdoors. Activities include canoe/kayaking, fishing and hiking; cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Please note that "bedroom 3" is semiprivate. It is enclosed by a folding screen, not a door. The bed is a double futon. The room is best for children.

Welcome to the historical Perth area. We hope you will enjoy your stay at our rural setting, close to amenities but surrounded by the sounds of the countryside. Our house has all the comforts of home with beautiful open vistas visible out each window. This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. In the summer you can fish and swim right off the end of the dock on the property. In the winter go from the fire pit to the sauna to the hot tub and if you’re really brave, cold plunge in the river!
