Heritage Queen at Kinloch Wilderness Retreat

Your room is part of a historic lodge nestled lakeside in nature with fantastic views. Our stunning area has many activities to offer including various hikes, kayaking, horse treks, ziplining and more. To relax there are lounges and a hot tub, great for stargazing! If you don't feel like cooking up a feast take a break and dine in our cozy restaurant. Not suitable for children under 10. Please look at our wilderness rooms if with children. Please note that we're a 5hr drive from Milford Sound.

Arthur's Pass Ecolodge - unique off grid living

Only 10mins south of Arthur's Pass Village, on SH73, the Ecolodge overlooks the expansive Waimakariri River and mountains of the National Park. Experience "off grid" living at its best on a small environmental footprint. To stay costs $175 per night for bed and homemade breakfast (for 2 people). You have the option to book up to 4 people in your group, as I have two Queen rooms available. I'm more than happy to share a 2-course meal + wine/beer for $35 pp and spend time sharing stories.

The Southern Cross is bright and cheery with a bit or a botanical feel. Lie in bed and watch the sun set on the Remarkables. With private balcony and half turret sitting room with window seating you can feel very at one with nature. It is a perfect spot to sit and watch the native Bellbirds and Tuis. There are stunning views of everything from The Remarkables, Lake Wakatipu, Cecil and Walter Peak. Freshly snow capped on a cold morning, Cecil will speak to your soul.

Queen room with an additional single bed, bathroom, offering a clean, practical & comfortable stay for solo travelers and couples looking for an easy stopover or to spend a few nights. The property is 20 minutes from Franz Josef, centralized near a local café & grocer, petrol station, children's playground, and tour companies including the White Heron Sanctuary Tours.

The Barn at Killin B&B - Alpine Room

Since the 1920s the Poolburn Hotel has been the meeting place of the Ida Valley. Nestled in the remote highlands of Central Otago, between Dunedin and the Lakes District, the valley is home to a close-knit farming community. Amuri Estate Private Super-King Room

Amuri Estate Lodge allows for a great get away. Three tastefully decorated comfortable rooms with joint, kitchen, dining and lounge facilities all warmed by a double sided schist gas fire and under floor heating. Our guest rooms have their own distinctive character and unique views. This room contains a super-king size bed with en-suite toilet and shower.
