Tanekaha Treehut is a cosy little cabin nestled in a private forest valley, the perfect romantic hideaway near some of New Zealand's best beaches. Enjoy the covered deck, native bird calls, and the sound of a nearby waterfall. A modest kitchen provides self-catering essentials, while the private bathroom, down a well-lit forest path, offers a tranquil alfresco shower experience. The Treehut also features its own private hot tub. A unique and understated escape in the heart of the Coromandel.

Bakehouse Cottage - Kauaeranga Valley

A tastefully renovated 1 bedroom, fully self -contained Victorian cottage set in 3.5 acres of tranquil, park-like rural land. The property backs onto the Kauaeranga River, a beautiful clean flowing river with an idyllic swimming hole at the end of the property. The majestic Pinnacles walking track is at the end of the road. The cottage is just 5km from the centre of Thames township; everything is nearby, including the popular Hauraki Rail Trail which is a 3.5km cycle from Bakehouse Cottage.

Our property, though a mere 10 minute walk into Thames township, is a peaceful and quiet oasis of abundant flora and fauna, nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Coromandel. Thames offers many attractions: visit museums and mines, walk the bush tracks, swim in the river or up the coast, dine in a diversity of restaurants/cafe's, go to the Saturday market, and ride the rail trail.

Littlefoot Tiny House

Tiny house complete with small kitchenette and bathroom as well as an outside shower and bath. The cabin can be configured with a superking bed or 2 single beds. Peaceful rural setting just 4 km from the iconic Whangamata beach. Sealed road for cyclists and just 2km from beautiful bush walks and waterfall. We are a small farm with cattle, sheep and chickens. There is an organic garden and orchard. Self catered but continental breakfast can be supplied on request at $12.50 per person (cash).

Pauanui Farm - idyllic hideaway

This beautiful and private holiday home is set on a peaceful little farm surrounded by native bush with panoramic wide open views. Sit back, relax and enjoy some quiet days away in this spacious and tastefully furnished studio providing you with a fully equipped kitchen, powerful rain head shower, super comfortable bed and free unlimited wifi. Beaches, hiking tracks, waterholes, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes are very close by. The perfect base for exploring the Coromandel Peninsula.

Fabulous on Thames coast. Stylish, well appointed 1 bedroom cottage, open plan living, dining, kitchen with direct access to lovely outdoor relaxation areas. A quiet haven off the main road, only 100 mtrs easy walk to beach reserve and fishing. Enjoy the birdsong, sunrise and daytime hours in the shady, tropical garden at the rear of the house with its generous outdoor seating and dining facilities, and take in the sunset from the deck and coastal garden in the front of the house.

Riverhaven Cottage is situated in a peaceful rural setting yet only 5 minutes from Thames township. You will enjoy hill and valley views from our purpose built Guesthouse. Swim in the beautiful clear river, take one of the many hikes through pristine native bush or bike the Hauraki Rail Trail, it's all on our doorstep. A comfortable drive away are the east coast beaches, including Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. Just 1 hour 20 minutes from Auckland International Airport.

Seaperch by Coromandel Town

Seaperch will have you looking out over the Coromandel Harbour, while only 1.8kms from the township & 1.4kms to Long Bay beach. This 2 level cottage with native bush surrounds is perfect for couples to envelope themselves with the beauty of NZ land and sea. There is also art and books abound. Enjoy sea views from the comfort of the bed, lounge, kitchen & various parts of the section. A very private the garden backs onto a bush reserve. No smoking inside but outside is fine.
