Big R's Retreat Secluded and located in Nature

Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

A private entrance to the lower level of home (completely separate from our home) that includes a central room, 2 bedrooms with kitchenette, & 1 lg bath. WiFi >500 Mbps speed. Close to APT, Taliesin/Frank Lloyd Wrights Home/School, House on the Rock, WI River, Gov. Dodge State Park and 1/2 hr to Devils Lake State Park.

Staying in a dome amidst nature is a unique experience. The circular structure offers an amazing view of the surroundings, with peaceful sounds of rustling leaves, chirping birds, and a flowing river below. The cozy dome has a queen size bed, night stands, a seating area, mini fridge, and a k-cup coffee maker & heater/ac. At night, the starry sky and nature's sounds lull you to sleep. Waking up, you feel refreshed, and the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views leave a lasting impression.

Private, and everything you need to feel at home.

Welcome, with this unique key-less entry, you have privacy. Walk into the fully loaded kitchen and living room. The living room has a desk to work at or watch TV. The bathroom has a walk in shower; use the fan or heat lamp. The Bedroom has a queen size bed, a dresser, night stand with lamp. Along with a spacious closet, it includes a washer and dryer. Feel free to do your laundry and hang your items up. Working, relaxing, and living. Our space have all the essentials you need for your stay.

Little Round Cabin on the Pine 2 - The "Pine Cone"

The 250 square foot "Pine Cone" is a one room, round yurt-style cabin located on our 8 acre property. We border the Pine River in Richland County, center of the beautiful Driftless region of southwest Wisconsin. Perfect for a quiet, nature-based retreat, we are less than four hours drive from Chicago, Milwaukee, and the Twin Cities. Driftless Region Cabin/ Stream and Sauna

Settle into a quaint farmhouse nestled in a valley in the rolling, forested hills of the Driftless Region. Start your day with a cup of local coffee on the front porch. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Funky, tidy 23 year old country cabin on 120 acres of farmland & woods in a private, quiet rural setting. It's cozy, 950 sq ft, built with stone and wood. Open concept with a two story fireplace, porch fireplace, firepit, and open loft for sleeping (1 bed), with spiral stairs, lots of windows, walnut floors and trim, oak beams and pine kitchen tops. Shower is big and open, with doors opening to a back deck for outdoor showering. Beautiful covered porch overlooking rolling meadows and woods.

Welcome to TB2, a beautifully updated two-bedroom apartment located on the lower level of the Steampunk Manor B & B. While housed in the same building, this apartment is completely separate from the bed and breakfast, offering guests privacy, comfort, and a space all their own—including a private entrance. Enjoy a stay directly on the backwaters of the Mississippi River. This custom cabin is floating right on the water, and you won't find anything like it! Grab your loved one or friend and surround yourself in nature, while soaking in the hot tub on the floating patio, or in the beautiful tub inside. Relax in the king size bed thats in front of one of the two fireplaces. The cabin has everything you need, including a small kitchen. This floating oasis is located at Millennium Marina.

Welcome to Driftless Chalet! The wonders of the Driftless Area lie just outside your window. Located on 5 wooded acres just past Spring Green, make this cozy cabin (with fast wifi, heat and A/C!) your HQ as you explore American Players Theater, House on the Rock, Taliesin, state parks, the WI River, wineries and more. Watch for deer and birds while sipping coffee on the porch, roast marshmallows over the campfire, bust out the board games and make lifelong memories!
