Enjoyable sand dunes right nearby. For hiking and just a quick walk in the green lush forest right near the sand dunes. Beautiful sights. Good exercise for non dune buggy tourists.

2.7 mile easy or difficult (your choice) self-guided interpretive hike through the trees and then through the dunes to the beach.

A personal favorite hike! Get up close and personal with the great Dunes of the Oregon coast. A long out-and-back hike through sand, and closer to the beach, thick wetlands. Bring water, snacks, and good shoes. Trail is marked by posts, and is not always obvious.

Great forest and dune trail - you can hike all the way to the beach, but bring food and water. Also not so great when it is windy!!
