A 15/20 minute drive away. A lovely seafront which has lots going on. Enjoy a beach day, hire stand up paddle boards or surfboards, skate along the front, enjoy the aqua splash park with little ones and visit the choice of cafes, restaurants and ice-cream stops. Fun day out for all the family!

The nearest family beach is Aberavon at 22.5 miles, but there are lots of lovely beaches and beautiful coves within a 90 minute drive, including the beautiful Gower coast and Mumbles Bay.

Ideal beach, perfect for walks, jogs, picnics, sandcastles also on the beach front there is crazy golf, splash pool, skate park, play ground . Also there is a chip shop, ice cream shop and restaurants.

If you want a beautiful sandy beach for a day out - Aberavon is the best!. approx 19mins by car. I love this beach for wave bobbing, sand castle building, shall collecting and a nice day out with the family. Aberavon beach front has a fully paved promenade that stretches for miles and is a great place for walking, skating and scooting. It's flat so you can use a mobility scooter, wheelchair or pram along the front. Located near the beach is a lovely Lido that's ideal for the kids on a hot day. It has sprinklers, bathing pools, a huge bucket that fills and douses everyone with water. There are restaurants and eateries along the front: - Remos - Classic Foods - The Front - Burgers and lovely dinner - Francos - Chip shop - Cinnamon Kitchen - Indian PAID PARKING DOTTED ALONG THE COAST; dogs welcome at certain times of the year.
