This protected land has the most beautiful blue bell and trillium fields I have ever seen. Best time to visit : April -May, but summer flowers here are also beautiful. Huge prickly pear patches line the roads. You can hike up Bowman's Hill directly from the park and the view is quite stunning from the look out tower. I love to sit on a bench by the creek or the pond and read.
