Short walk on passenger ferry from Nanaimo’s inner harbour. This floating pub is defiantly worth spending the afternoon walking around protection island and dinner looking back at Nanaimo’s inner harbour.

The Dinghy Dock Pub is the only place to get food and drinks on Protection Island. The pub is on a floating dock and has some amazing views of the harbour. Live music weekly as well as music trivia every Thursday night.

Take the little ferry over to the Dingy Dock Pub...just to say you did it! On Protection Island. Often live music playing in the summer...large patio.

Take a little ferry over from town or rent a kayak or boat. Lovely pub for lunch or dinner on a warm summers night. Live bands in the summer. Kids are welcome on the family side.
