This hip bar and restaurant always has a good vibe to it and it cranks out some of the tastiest dishes in the East Bay area as well. The bang bang shrimp tacos are on another level but anything you get is typically great. They have some creative cocktails as well. This downtown area of warren is a short 5 minute drive from the cottage and it's perfect for dinner and an evening of strolling Bristol's historic neighboring sister town. There are a number of waterfront spots to dine and drink as well down there. Definitely one of Rhode Island's up and coming small towns for entertainment and food choices for sure.

The Square Peg restaurant & bar occupies the building (circa 1790) of the former antique store of the same name. Just a 5 minute walk to the south you will find it on the corner of Water St. and Miller St. It is a popular spot for lunch and dinner that serves straightforward / no nonsense food at affordable prices. There is a bar with many draft beers that rotate daily. Two of our favorite menu items are the Falafel wrap with fries and the Riverside Reuben. Can get a little loud on busy nights. Closed Sunday - Monday. Locally owned and operated by Joel and Amy Cary.
