Lurin downtown is one of those places you really must visit while you are staying at the beach. Mostly unknown to many (even to locals), the downtown makes you feel as if you were at some small village in Peru. On Sundays, you will find a gastronomic fair, and local artisans selling their work (as well as local distilleries selling their spirits). The main church of Lurin is located next to the main square.
