The boating lake is great for kids of many ages. There is a large park and skate area for the ones with wheels. Plus café and dog walking.

Under 10 minutes drive - Pedalo around the boating lake on giant swans or a flamingo! If the small car park is full then try the ‘Fairground car park’ just across the road (this one is also free).

A good day out, play park with large boating lake where you can hire boats (subject to a fee) and kiddies boats, feed ducks, enjoy food in the café. Bike hire also available where you can cycle to Loe Bar

The Boating lake is great for the kids, with a park,skate park,cafe and of course the lake!, where you can hire pink peddle power flamingo boats!!. There is a huge free car park opposite which also leads on to Penrose estate with beautifull walks down to low bar, through the woods with great views and The Stable cafe, next to the Estate house. Helston is also home to the famous Flora day, which usually takes place in may, traditional dancing through the town, stalls and the fair comes along too!.
