The Jouberts have looked after Jessica from 2000 when she was separated from her mother in the floods. Visit the only hippo one is ever going to pat. Offer her rooibos tea and sweet potatoes etc. Get great photos. 26kms from Shikwari.

Visit Jessica the Hippo and feed her. This girl was found when she was only a few weeks old and raised by humans. She loves interacting with humans and this is definitely something to have on your bucket list

Famous Jessica the Hippo. Honestly I'm not in favour of feeding wild animals, but could be nice outing for the family.
