Glenda Richburg has a great thing going on at Annie's, her homage to her grandmother's restaurant located in the same place. This is THAT place, where the clammers and the mayor and visitors and business owners (that's us) and everyone has breakfast and lunch and have since the beginning. Only about 1000 feet from the cottages, this is the nearest place to grab breakfast or lunch. This is like grandma's kitchen: nothing pretentious, just a perfectly constructed BLT, a grilled, smashed burger, perfect grits, fresh eggs cooked perfectly to your order, awesome biscuits and sausage gravy. This is quintessential Cedar Key. One of your servers, Peggy Sue, used to live on this property.

Definitely a local hangout. Not fancy, but I go for the mullet sandwich and french fries. Classic Florida.

Annie's has great breakfasts, but we love their burgers or fish sandwiches for lunch the best.
