Our local boat launch, which is just a mile up the road. There is a short walking trail, a small picnic are and, in the summer, a Sunday afternoon fundraising BBQ; proceeds go to the care and upkeep of the park.

The Marine Park is about 3 km before the cottage. It has a boat ramp, swimming area, wharf, picnic tables - some under the sun and some under roofs. There are also outhouses. Fries are served each Sunday afternoon during the summer months.
