Such a cool and unique spot. They play movies you can’t find at regular theaters and have lots of board games to try out. The food is just *chef’s kiss* amazing. Any of the menu items are thoughtful, locally sourced, and delicious. We love ordering the TBLT sandwich (yes, the vegan version is BETTER than the regular BLT) and the Truffled Grapes. We often take our out of town friends and family here. Great place for anyone with dietary restrictions and a fun place for an alcoholic drink, too.

Bookhouse Cinema is a Joplin gem! If you have some free time in the afternoon or over an evening, Bookhouse will be showing new and classic indie films that you wouldn't be able to view in a traditional theatre. You can still get drinks, snacks, full dinner service, and more all for a unique experience that you can't find anywhere else.

Funky little place off the beaten path is perfect when you just need to chill out. Fantastic, unique food with vegetarian and vegan options as well as beers and wine. Hang out inside and play a boardgame or enjoy the side patio. Grab a drink and catch a movie in the cozy theater. This is a great place for preteens through adults.
