Whether you planned an early start or are in need of a mid-afternoon pick me up, head to The Muse Gallery and Cafe for a java fix. Pop in and grab an Americano, London Fog or a Hazelnut Latte. I can confirm the latter is absolutely delicious, especially with a sprinkle of cinnamon! As you’re waiting for your beverage to be made, take a moment to admire the beautiful pieces of work that adorn the walls of the cafe. You’ll be inspired by the brilliant artwork including paintings, prints and jewellery. Be sure to take a look at their food menu as well as it’s very reasonably priced and makes for a great snack while on the road. This unique space in Bancroft is where your typical art gallery meets cozy cafe vibes, breaking that formality that often comes with the gallery setting. Inside you’ll find the work of six artists who create pieces in a variety of mediums and styles. Spend some time perusing the gallery as you wait for your order. As for eats, The Muse Gallery & Cafe has a limited menu but everything is made daily. The best way to see their offerings is to visit their Facebook page where they post their specials each day. You’ll see that the majority of their eats being vegan or vegetarian, meaning a fresh and healthy meal. If you’re wondering what to try, I’d recommend checking them out on a Saturday aka maki day when they make their fresh sushi rolls. Arrive early though to avoid disappointment as they seem to sell out each time! While I only popped in for a hazelnut latte during my visit (which was absolutely delicious, by the way), I will certainly be returning for more than just coffee next time I’m in Bancroft.

The best lattes in Bancroft! Also a hidden gem with delicious menu of rotating fusion foods. Beautiful local art brightens up the space and there are many artisan objects in a range of prices.

Super cute Cafe in town with art work around and few artisan crafts to sell. Best coffee in town as their the only ones with an expresso machine(!!!) 😋😋
