Fab Museum with things for all the family. Includes lots of interactive exhibitions such as building your own igloo, playing shops, dressing up and more. They also have toddler sessions on a Friday. There's a cute shop and cafe too and a large exhibition all about Sheffield.

Lots of interesting exhibitions like 'The Secret Egypt - Unravelling Truth From Myth' (till 10 April). On the top floor there is an indoor covered space to have picnics. T, 9 years old

It is Sheffield's largest museum and is housed in a Grade II* listed building and managed by Museums Sheffield. The museum also has a cafe. It is set within a beautiful large park which has a lake. Perfect for picnics in the summer or a stroll in the winter. It is within walking distance although it is uphill going there but downhill getting back.
