On the other side of the island, if you are out and about we ALWAYS go to Thurston’s. Quintessential Maine Lobster pound and pretty famous around these parts. Absolutely the freshest lobsters in every size. Not fancy but they have a full bar and great food! Visit them when you go to Bass Harbor or want to see the other side of the island!

If it’s lobster you want, you HAVE to go here. It’s the real deal and the views overlooking Bass Harbor are outstanding
