best if you take public transport, but you can walk also. Beautiful, huge park on the Spree. Has lovely cafes/beer gardens too, and historical monuments like the Soviet War Memorial. There is an abandoned amusement park called SpreeWald where you can take a tour. You can rent paddle boats, etc as well.

Nice park and forest along the river, just a train stop from here. Often has live music.

Great for just a walk along the water or more intense for history lovers whilst visiting old monuments.

This area includes a big park directly at the river. You can also rent small boots or pedal boats. Great area for sports/Jogging or picknick. There are also groups who meet there for free style Dance, hula hop, yoga or just singing.
