Walking across the Charles bridge from Lesser town you will reach Old town. Medieval district in Prague. The Old town square belongs also among the most visited places in Prague.
The Old Town is one of the most popular places to visit since everybody wants to see the legendary "Orloj" Astronomical Clock. In the middle ages, this quarter was inhabited by the merchants and the Jewish population.
Old Town, or Staré Mesto, is a lively cobblestoned hub with landmark attractions such as the medieval Astronomical Clock and the Gothic Church of Our Lady Before Týn, on Old Town Square. The Rudolfinum concert hall hosts classical music, while the Estates Theatre stages ballet and opera.
I think The Old Town of Prague is really historical, original and amazing place on the earth.

“ In the middle ages, this quarter was inhabited by the royal servants and the king himself. This is one of the most guarded and most popular areas to visit. The key government institutions and embassies are to be found here. However, here, you will find fewer opportunities to find a good meal compared to the opposite side of the Vltava river. If you still want to find a nice cafe/restaurant, try to find somethnig closer to Kampa island.”
