I go here mostly for the quintessential PNW Whidbey atmosphere and waterviews. Small but well-rounded menu with local ingredients. This old historic inn faces Penn Cove where you can see the actual mussel farm nearby. Call ahead to make sure they’re seating non-guests as hours can change on a whim.

Captain Whidbey has an amazing restaurant and tiki bar that overlooks Penn Cove. Stretch out on their lawn or deck and enjoy some local seafood and fare. One of my favs during the summer!

They have the most unique historical atmosphere and also have five star chefs from around the world serve you your mail.

This is hands down the best dining on the Island. The views of Penn Cove are breath taking. You can boat, drive, bike, or walk. Not to be missed!
