Fantastic atmosphere for Tex-Mex near the river. Stop by after tubing for a (neon green) agave wine margarita and some good eats. The Hut is always packed with locals, but they seat you quickly and it always enhances the atmosphere!

We've been going there since they opened 30 years ago. It is the best Texmex (Mexica food) in town. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Decent, plentiful, cheap mexican food right off the river. Herbert's has been a San Marcos institution for as long as I can remember.

One of the oldest and best Tex-Mex restaurants here in San Marcos and within walking distance of the Casita. Just across the street from Ivars River Pub and Rio Vista park. Great prices and speedy service!
