Shipping containers that are reappropriated for other uses are everywhere in Bangkok. Well, at Rod Fai Market 2, there’s an entire block of bars, restaurants, and stands made from them. The market opens in the early evening for the sale of common ‘night market’ wares, but as the night goes on the tables get folded up and put away and bars take over the majority of the traffic. They range from sitting and chatting bars to live music and DJ bars. Some of them are stacked for a unique, two-story experience. Either way it’s a cool area to spend an evening sipping the night away.
