RUSTIC setting and an amazing adventure driving through a "rain forest" setting to get there ~ next door to an open paddock ~ good food, BEST SCONES ever, good coffee ~ plus a BEER GARDEN Fireplace inside, verandahs, tea/beer garden Can take the pooch and sit outdoors too!

Set amidst the gorgeous sandstone escarpments, the Megalong Valley Tearooms have been operating since 1956. Known for our apple pie - made to the same recipe for 60 years - Devonshire teas, all day breakfast and lunch, large tea selection, and great coffee. They update our menu regularly, based on the season and availability of fresh ingredients.

A short picturesque drive from Tansy Cottage (about 20 minutes). Road is windy so take it easy. Enjoy their all day breakfast menu or Devonshire tea. Outdoor seating area with country views.

Turn left off the highway at Blackheath. and take a drive down into the picturesque Megalong Valley and enjoy a bite of breakfast or lunch. The Megalong Valley Tearooms have been serving up breakfast, lunch, tea, coffee, scones, pies, cakes and other tasty sweets since 1956. Relaxed atmosphere, great food, mostly outside tables with umbrellas or outside rooms, overlooking paddocks and magnificent escarpments that soar above the valley.
