A large green space in the heart of the Miramar neighborhood. Especially in the summer, it’s best to go in the afternoon to beat the heat. Aside from all the open space to run around in, there are bounce houses, pony rentals, horses, and other attractions for children—and admission is free! And you’ll always find vendors selling traditional charcoal-grilled meals. Sunday afternoons are the best time to go. Many come to play sports or have picnics.

This giant park in the middle of the Playa neighborhood is one of Havana's green spaces par excellence. The beach of Santa Maria has beautiful white sand the clear blue water and its only 40-minute ride.

You can make a run, on weekends take the children for a horse ride and other attractions and if you find a good spot (sometimes the weed is to high) you can make a picnic.
