Who places a bunch of cute cats and their litter in statue form in the middle of the bustling road of the city centre ? ONLY In Kuching. This iconic statue , dressed up on occasions is a picture worthy shot for tourist visiting Kuching. There's 2 statues along the road , look out for them.

Kuching sounds a lot like the Malay word for 'cat' and hence cats are the city's mascot. This is a particularly nice cat statue and a popular photo op.

This is the iconic cat statue of Kuching, the city of cats. To the locals, this kitty cat is the symbol of our multicultural society, celebrations, and most importantly, home.
