My daughter and I stumbled on the Wharf Bar and Restaurant when we were looking for somewhere to shelter one drizzly afternoon. We had champagne and tapas and watched the local pelican, perched on its bollard, on the rustic wharf outside our window - and we surveyed the riverside activity from our cosy bolthole as day turned into night and the restaurant candles began to flicker and wharf lamps began to glow. Can’t wait for an excuse to return!

Great location on the river - watch prices for added extra's to your meals. check you know the amount of your meal. cheap or expensive depends on how you order. Live music weekends. great spot

Great meals, good wine list, great service. You can get a burger or a fancy meal - and have a great view of the Richmond river.

Best local wood fired pizza. Great for a drink overlooking the river. 20-30 minute 2.5k walk or short drive.
