This unusual, extremely spacious venue is a fusion of a microbrewery and a high-end Asian restaurant. The offerings include an extensive sushi menu, as well as a variety of other Asian-style dishes. One side of the restaurant has a full bar, and the other side has a separate microbrewery tasting bar. The main dining room's walls display humorous posters to entertain the guests while they wait for their food. Indoor seating only. 5-minute walk from the Loft Over The Bay.

We enjoyed several different craft beers/ciders. I especially enjoyed the Ace pear cider. It was a light and semi sweet beverage (almost like a light wine). We also enjoyed a variety of sushi. You must try the French Kiss Sushi, Dragon Roll and Spider Roll. But what made our experience so special was the young woman who served us at the bar, Jesse. She shared her knowledge of the different craft beers, was friendly and fun to talk to. It was clear that she really enjoys what she does. I hope to visit Small City Taphouse again when visiting Sandusky in the future.
