One of the best hidden gems in Sibiu, very good food. During the summer and autumn they also cook food based on some season's vegetables. Perfect for vegetarians also :) All the vegetables are bought fresh from the nearby market.

Nice, elegant restaurant, with middle range prices. The menu is small and the chef cooks with local ingredients. The place is quite small, so you should book online (where you can also check the menu).

Syndicat Gourmet is the only Indian fusion cuisine restaurant in town. It is best known for preparing its meals and gourmet dishes with local ingredients. For that reason Gault & Millau rated it as the best restaurant in Sibiu, with 12.5 points to of 20. You can taste exotic mango foam soup, homemade hearty pasta with chicken curry and cheese and exquisite duck breast with pink grapefruit and sour cherry sauce; they change their menu with each season. They are open from: Tue to Fri from 18:00 to 23:00 and Sun to Sat from 13:00 to 23:00. Reservation at: +4 (0269) 210 868.
