The Perch is unique. Started by a local family, it's both a brewery and a restaurant... and it has an awesome selection of exotic birds on location (hence "The Perch"). At nighttime this is an amazing place to visit in Fall and Spring when you can enjoy the huge outdoor patio and upstairs rooftop lounge. In the winter, its an amazing lunch location. They focus on unique craft beers, and the selection can be quite eclectic. Very highly recommended. Book in advance to guarantee a seat.

Mexican inspired lolli-pops. Super authentic and VERY tasty. Our favorites are the chili-mango and horchata flavors.

Local roasters that source from a family farm in Brazil. Can't speak highly enough about their staff and the craft that goes into their coffee. They have that local, small-coffee shop feel that so many other roasters in town have lost. If you go on Sundays, they serve a hot breakfast (chocolate chip pancakes anyone?)

Best donuts in town. Bosa serves up your average donut. No crazy combinations, just how it was always meant to be... except these are the fluffiest I have ever found in AZ. Highly recommend if you're a sugar nut!

Our local everyday taco joint. Go for the burritos. For breakfast we go for the bacon or chorizo. For any other time the california, adovado or carne asada is the best choice!

Pita Jungle is one of our favorite go-to's. Generally health-conscious food, with a killer happy and reverse-happy hour menu. They have jazz on Thursday nights and a fantastic patio if the weather is nice. Highly recommend!

Cartel is the most successful local chain of roasters in town. You'll see them across the valley and in the airport. Roasted here in Phoenix and they take their craft very seriously.

Drinks & Nightlife

One of the best spots in town... period. It's a local chandler company that is spreading like wildfire. Their Mr. Pineapple beer has won several awards. The food which is Southwestern inspired is also fantastic. It can be a good place to take the kids... but also a great way to start your night!

The Phoenix Brewery that started it all. Four Peaks is easily the most known and recognizable brewery in town - and for good reason. The beers have won several international Golds, and they recently expanded the property. Great food and great beer.

Parks & Nature

Camelback Mountain is probably the most iconic spot in Phoenix, Arizona. Nestled near the heart of the city, the mountain has two climbs to get to the top. The Echo Canyon is more strenuous - definitely come prepared. The other trail from the East is longer, but more gradual. The views from the top give you a 360 of all of Phoenix - and are spectacular. Don't go in the middle of summer and BE PREPARED. Parking can be tough middle of the day and sometimes the trails are packed - but for good reason. Do research prior to hiking.
