A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

It is a detached house for rent. Self check-in with smart lock. There is a supermarket nearby, so shopping is very convenient. Access to world heritage sites such as [Koyasan] and [Mozu Furuichi Burial Mounds] is also good, and the limousine bus goes directly to Kansai Airport and Nankai Koya Line Namba Station. Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.

Hanastay Kawachinagano is a cozy and welcoming guesthouse located in a quiet residential area. Our on-site manager will greet you at your scheduled arrival time and assist with the check-in procedure. Please kindly note: Some rooms currently do not have curtains installed. かしの木庵は近鉄橿原神宮前駅から徒歩3分という大変便利な立地にあります。 橿原神宮は、日本の始まりの地で、初代天皇の御陵や神社のある歴史的な町です。また緑の多い、自然豊かな所です。近隣には、日本の古代の姿がそのまま残っているような明日香があり、そこには多くの遺跡が点在しています。また、江戸時代の古い街並みが現存する今井町も見所です。 かしの木庵は、築６０年余りの純和風の家屋で、お庭も楽しんで頂けます。台所や浴室等は、リフォームされ気持ちよく過ごしていただけます。 近くには観光案内所、レストラン、居酒屋、スーパー、ドラッグストア、コンビニ、百円ショップ等もあり、大変便利です。 京都や大阪、奈良へも1時間程で着きますよ。

Before or after Koyasan.

Good place before or after Koyasan. Small but lots of good bars and restaurants. And little nature stuff. Good walking spot for sunrise / sunset. On the way to Koyasan . 5 min to nearest metro( Kongo station). 25 min to Namba. No tourists around here but definitely recommend spending some time here !!
