It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock. A serene get away in a farm cottage on a real working farm. We homesteaded this property in 2012 and have created our own slice of paradise. We grow produce and flowers that is sold at a local farmers market. We have Scottish Highlander cows, an ex racehorse, a shetland pony, goats, ducks, and chickens. You're welcome to roam the property, sit by the pond, visit with the animals, take a tour of the farm or explore all that Litchfield county has to offer!

The Windy Top Cottage is an old stone building constructed in 1932 by H. L. Bitter, a wealthy Hartford businessman. This area of Granby was a favorite of the Hartford elite for a place to 'summer' in the early part of the 20th Century.
