Lige udenfor kører der busser til centrum og en dagligvare butik er 2-3 min. væk. Selv om området er tæt bygget, er der rig mulighed for at nyde naturen. En sti langs området fører dig forbi dammen Myllutjørn, og en å løber langs stien. Andre skønne områder tæt på er bl.a. vandfaldet Svartifossur og Gamle Hoyvík, som er populær til at tage en kold dukkert i.

A central location in the middle of the Faroe Islands only about 17 minutes drive from the capital Tórshavn. A private entrance and spacious corridor, a modern 14 m2 bright room with a double bed, a table with 4 chairs and with a lovely view. A very nice private new bathroom with shower. A new kitchen with all facilities. About 2 minutes drive to the nearest grocery-store. For about 25 years, the host has worked as a tourist guide with Scandinavian, English and German-speaking tourists.

Hósvík ligger centralt på Færøerne og er den perfekte base for at udforske øerne, eller bare slappe af i fredelige, flotte omgivelser. Lejligheden er perfekt til enkeltpersoner/par, med eller uden børn, som ikke trænger meget indendørs plads. Der er smalle trapper op i lejligheden, dvs. uegnet til folk som ikke er fuldt mobile.
