Inside, you’ll stay cool with AC, a cozy queen bed, kitchenette, dining table, reliable wifi, and full bath. Outside, relax by the fire pit or cook on the charcoal grill. This home is a beautiful mix of cozy and modern. You’ll love cooking in the kitchen and taking in the view from the second story deck. The property is stunning, with wide meadows and dense woods. There are 140 acres to explore and utilize for events like weddings or a retreats. There is a half acre pond with a pond house at the top of the property and a trout stream running along the bottom. It’s everything you could hope for in a Catskills getaway, all nestled overlooking the town of Andes.

Secluded and Private Catskills Cabin with a View

Modern cabin on the mountains of the western Catskills. There is a full kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, an assortment of books, board games, puzzles, and an indoor wood-burning stove. There is reliable, high-speed fiber-optic wifi. There is no TV. Note: In winter (Dec-March at least) you will NEED a vehicle with AWD or 4WD to reach the cabin. The final .75 mile of the drive is a dirt road with a couple of hills that could be difficult for an FWD vehicle to safely get up or down.

The Hamden Inn dates from the early 1840s. It contains two separate units, providing an ideal retreat for small or large groups. Enjoy activities like hiking and fishing plus the antiques, stores and restaurants in nearby Andes, Delhi and Bovina. The quiet town of Hamden is a relaxing place to unwind and this upstairs apartment is designed for long term stays. The inn is just a ten-minute drive from conveniences including a pharmacy, grocery store and a weekly farmer's market.
