My Blue Heaven

The cabin is totally renovated with new appliances. Very cute and cozy, perfect for couples looking for a romantic get away. Jenkins Beach is closed for renovations this summer but you can still rent/launch boats there for a small fee. The cabin has WiFi and two TV’s, one has Apple TV, the other has streaming services as well and both have DVD players. Our cabin is not childproof, so not suitable for children under 5. Please look closely at the pictures if you’re bringing a small child.

The sunroom is perfect for morning coffee, winding down with a glass of wine or curling up with a good book on the boat bed.

#16 is a spacious room with a fully stocked kitchen (refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot), a bedroom with king bed, a living room with a comfortable futon and a trundle bed (2 twins, one pulls out from underneath). A/C (living room), full bath w/shower, cable, TV, small dining area. Guests can enjoy our new communal outdoor kitchen—with a grill, Blackstone griddle, air fryer, hot plate. Please note that the hot tub and shared indoor amenities are no longer available.

Lillebo

Lillebo is set near the end of a dead end road with a five minute walk yielding views over Frenchman's bay with Sorrento in the near view and Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor in the long view. This homey house is set about 200 feet from the road with no neighbors in direct view. There’s a screen porch on one end of the house and a garage on the other. In the garage there is a ping pong table, corn hole, darts and bikes. There are three adult bikes, one youth bike and one kids bike.

Our family is excited to share our off-grid *lite* cabin with you! Located on our artist collective farm, this is our favorite place on earth. It’s bright, beautiful, and filled with color. We are 27 minutes from Acadia National Park and surrounded by truly gorgeous local beaches. We offer super comfy beds, a seasonal outdoor shower, hot tub, grill, fire pit, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and a cozy wood stove in the winter.

Wicket Good Road is a private apartment in a wooded/garden setting. 12 miles from Acadia National Park, 14 to Bar Harbor and tourist attractions, and five miles to Ellsworth and essentials. Large deck with grill for dining in or out, well equipped kitchen, large screen TV, air conditioning (it can get hot in Maine, believe it or not), comfortable queen bed, large outdoor space with gardens and quiet. And great wifi! It's a comfy base of operations for summer fun in Maine!

Hummingbird Suites offers 2 private Suites located one mile from the main entrance to Acadia National Park and four miles from downtown Bar Harbor. The address of the suite is 240 State Highway 3 Bar Harbor Maine 04609. We hope you enjoy your time at the Suite and spend some time watching Hummingbirds in the flower gardens.

Far From the Maddening Crowd

My home is on a quiet street in Ellsworth, 18 miles from Acadia National Park and 4 miles from Branch Lake, the warmest water in the area for swimming! The Island Explorer, a free shuttle bus, takes you to Acadia and other towns on Mt. Desert Island free of charge from designated areas close to my home.
