Enjoy the beautiful views on the verandah, stroll down to the river or have an early morning run. The cottage is an architect designed, open plan, one bedroom unit with partly open plan bathroom. Morning sun pours through expansive glass panes, a free standing fireplace and solid wood floors help keep it warm in winter. A 20 minute drive gets you to Nottingham Road shops and restaurant

Beautiful thatched cottage with an extra Rondavel set on our farm in the Northern Drakensberg area. It has its own private garden with lawns down to the edge of the dam. In the corner is a gorgeous private swimming pool to enjoy sundownders in on hot lazy summer evenings or keep the kiddies busy. The pool is safely fenced off. Ideal for a couple or a larger group. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

Paddocks Cottage on Newstead Farm nestles in the rolling hills near Nottingham Road. Here you can find dams for boating and bass fishing, a tennis court and 25ha of indigenous forest! This rural smallholding farm with Nguni Cows and retired horses has a significant history from the 1840's and gives you the chance to experience the true peace and tranquillity of the countryside, but yet is very central to top restaurants, golf courses, wedding venues and schools. The farm runs on solar power.

Experience the peace of the meandering Mooi River, nature, livestock and overlook the quiet bustle of an active farmyard. Unfortunately due to ongoing biosecurity measures access to the dairy and cattle areas will not be allowed. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)
