This mid-terrace cottage is situated in a hamlet, two miles outside of Bala, a gateway to Snowdonia National Park with pubs, restaurants and outdoor activities. Our cottage is surrounded by farms and hills, a perfect spot for a getaway. There are walking paths in front of the house, leading you through the stunning Welsh landscape; Llyn Tegid (Lake Bala) is a 5 minute drive away and Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon) 60 minutes. The beaches by the Llyn Peninsula and Barmouth are only 45m away. Pet free.

Self contained guest suite in historic village

Our place is in the village of Rhuddlan near a 13th century church and castle, the River Clwyd, the Clwydian Hills, the beaches of Rhyl & Prestatyn, and the North Wales Expressway (A55). The peaceful, historic village has small local shops, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The modern, ground floor annex is private, with its own front door, hall, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower and small kitchenette. It is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

Hafod Hedd (Peaceful Summer Dwelling)

Hafod Hedd is set in a beautiful private woody location on a the banks of a river. It is the perfect get away for adventurous souls who wish to escape the modern world! Cooking, heating and hot water are provided by a real fire, light is provided by candles, and the loo is an eco-friendly compost toilet. The real highlight is bathing under the stars in a pair of al fresco baths. This dwelling is only suited to able bodied adults as there are steep paths, hot fires, and drops into the river.

Yr Efail is situated in Llanfor a small village 3/4 of a mile from the market town of Bala. The property is a converted blacksmiths workshop were the owners family have worked since 1905. Recently renovated into a fully equipped self catering cottage. The property is single story providing easy access for all. Shops, restaurants and pubs are situated in Bala which you can reach by road or on foot along a footpath. We live in the village and available to recommend places to eat and visit.

Situated in the beautiful village of Llandderfel near Bala, this cottage is ideal for a peaceful getaway. A fantastic base for walking or just chilling, the local, dog friendly pub with excellent food a short walk away. The cottage is cozy and comfortable, has full central heating and a log/coal burner. 1x double bed, 1x single and a double sofa bed in the lounge if needed. Bala town & lake 10mins drive. This end terrace cottage has a quirky style of its own. It has full central heating. Lounge is a good size with sofa and a matching arm chair, dining table, electric fire (log burner effect). It has a staircase that leads to a gallery landing and mezanine bedroom, with a king size bed, and en-suite shower room. The kitchen is very well equipped, with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, electric hob and oven. Ground floor W.C.
