Close to Murō-ji Temple, Ryuketsu Shrine, and Muro Sanjō Art Forest. The name “SOBOA” comes from “asobo,” meaning play—offering a relaxing escape from daily life. Breakfast is included. A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
