A secluded cozy cottage perfect for a couple’s getaway. Located in the Pisgah National Forest, this getaway is only an hour drive from Asheville. Relax to the sound of flowing water on the front porch, or take a trip to nature destinations nearby. Enjoy your day at one of three ski resorts nearby or enjoy a day of waterfalls and wineries. If you choose to stay in, we have 9 acres of beautiful unspoiled land to explore. Spend evenings in our barn Billiard Room with TV’s and Poker/Game Table.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Leaky Creek Wizard Cottage

Calling all Wizards and Witches! Leaky Creek Wizard Cottage is now open for business. This abandoned Wizard hangout is nestled in the woods with a creek steps away from the backyard. Inside you’ll find cozy nooks, spell books and a fireplace to rewatch your favorite movies on the big screen. Each room includes unique magical touches that have been gathered from all over the world. This is more than just a stay, it’s an immersive experience where the magic is real and the coffee brews itself ⚡️

Jane's Place Mountain Retreat

Serene getaway tucked in the woods 35 minutes from Asheville. Spivey Falls Cabin, A Cabin by a Waterfall

A secluded cabin with access to two private, large waterfalls in the Mountains of Tennessee. Nestled on a cliff, the beautiful nature offer precipitous trails to a swimming area beneath a waterfall. The family home overlooks a 75 foot cascading waterfall. Garden trails follow along the creek and incline. Interior cabin exhibits variety of cultural nostalgia from the local family's home and tradition. We hope you come away with peace, tranquility of God's nature and restorative living water .

Easy access to Erwin TN, local shopping and dining, along Appalachian Trail, fishing, rafting, hiking, in the beautiful East Tennessee mountains. Fabulous waterfalls and lakes nearby. Pet friendly - dogs welcomed. No cats as owners are allergic.

Less than 2 miles from Hatley Pointe Ski Resort! All the whimsy and excitement of a mountain treehouse with the comfort of a modern home. This “roundette” is perched nearly a mile above sea level, surrounded by towering spruce and fir trees, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Though it’s a quick 40 minute drive to the vibrant Asheville downtown, it truly feels like a private wilderness oasis. 4WD/AWD is recommended during winter months. Read more under "guest access".

Burnsville has a Brewery with live music ,Unicoi beautyspot & AT lookout is 22 miles, Mayland planetarium& observatory(get tickets in advance)! This area has so much to explore!
