Lots of water close by for kayaking/canoeing. ATV trails just a few km away. Firewood supplied. Please bring your own drinking / wash water. Pets welcome, but Not on the furniture unless you’ve brought a cover. Never leave pets unattended. No running water. Outhouse/toilet facility. Bring your own disposable propane tank if BBQ’ing.

The Shore Shack

Shore Shack is a newly construction timber frame cabin on the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful views and direct oceanfront. A Sandy beach within walking distance (at the end of Sand Beach road). The town of Liverpool is a five minute drive away. Very private! Whitepoint, Carter's and Summerville beach all a short drive away. A four person hot tub was added in March 2022. Welcome to Hemlock Cabin, a Scandinavian A-Frame retreat in Nova Scotia’s peaceful countryside. Perfect for families or groups of up to 6 adults and 2 kids, the cabin features three bedrooms: a king master, a queen room, and a fun bunk room for four children. Enjoy direct lake access with a private dock for swimming and relaxing. New in August 2025, guests can also unwind in our premium four-person cedar barrel sauna, imported from Estonia and equipped with a modern Huum 9kW heater.

The property is about 1 hour from Halifax and the airport and is walkable to many restaurants, stores, the harbor, and trails. The children's park is steps away, as is the town swimming pool.
