Venda do Duque is a special place indeed! We spent two nights with extended family and loved our stay. We spent most of our time outside in the charming courtyard area, enjoying the garden and beautiful pool, peaceful surroundings, eating our meals outside and watching the sunset. Inside was clean and spacious with a very rustic feel. We really enjoyed our time and hope to return again someday.

This place is superb. So spatious, private pool, big outdoor space. We had a great time here. My friends also got to meet the owners and said they were absolutely lovely.

We had a lovely stay at Venda do Duque, the setting is pretty remote so a car is essential, but it is wonderfully peaceful and the stars at night are brilliant! The outdoor space is well enclosed and great for children - our son throughly enjoyed his daily swims and exploring the courtyard. Although we don't speak any Portuguese, the hosts were very hospitable, happy and helpful and our son loved them chatting away and smiling to him. Une adresse parfaitement calme et sereine dans la campagne portugaise. La piscine est parfaitement entretenue et tellement agréable pour se rafraîchir après la découverte des villages blancs des environs. A recommander sans hésitation! Très bon contact avec la propriétaire! Merci pour ces belles journées sous le soleil!

This is an exceptional place: everything is perfect: the house is really beautiful, the decoration is really nice. We enjoyed a lot to be there and spent also time in the amazing swimming pool. The surroundings are very calm, it is clean and well equiped. Lucia and Joao who received us are also very nice. We absolutely recommend that house!

Beautiful home and fantastic hosts - we had an amazing time

La casa está en un entorno súper tranquilo, rodeada de alcornoques y campo, no se oye ni un ruido y se duerme de lujo. Por otro lado está bien ubicada para visitar la zona, desde Évora, Estremoz, hasta Monsaraz o Setubal ... Es una casa antigua con muros de piedra gruesos así que aunque fuera haga calor dentro está muy fresco y no se echa en falta el aire acondicionado, está decorada con mucho gusto. Lovely villa in beautiful region of Portugal. Great value!Few tweaks needed here and there but one would struggle to find a better place in the area for the price. Highlight, pool area.
