Our rustic Garden Cottage is perfect for a romantic couple’s country getaway. Enjoy sundowners & the magic night skies with views over the valley & the dams below. Just 15 minutes away lies Nottingham Road with endless options for great meals, shopping & the Midlands Meander. Walks on the property, fishing, cycling or hikes in the mountains are available to you. The secluded cottage is within the main house’s sprawling gardens & our friendly dogs will likely pay you a visit during your stay.

Ideal for overnight stops; as an adventure base for the outdoor enthusiast; and for the academic seeking a quiet space for producing important works. Access to a spacious garden; shops 1 km away; very close to Platberg Nature Reserve. We love our home and area, and would love to share these with you.

Spring Close Boutique Cottage in Nottingham Rd

The Cottage is backed up by a solar system- NO LOAD SHEDDING! It is a gorgeous haven in central Nottingham Rd attached to the Manor House but very private. Seek peace & tranquility within a comfortably sophisticated environment. You'll be transported from the rushing world to a haven of calmness and beauty. The large English garden will help to create that perfect sense of being in a beautiful part of the world. The cottage is adjacent to the house but is private with separate entrance.

The Igloo Cottage

Thatched country cottage situated in the Rosetta area (halfway between Nottingham Road and Mooi River). The carpeted cottage (close to our home) with a private entrance, consists of: - a bedroom (double-bed), - lounge, workstation, lounge chairs and sleeper-couch, - kitchenette and - shower area. Private courtyard with a patio table and chairs. Situated on a small holding with the Mooi river 250m from the cottage. Guests will be able to paddle on, walk or rest at the river.

Zebra View 117, Cathkin Estates

This charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house is ready to welcome you home. This property offers a tranquil and picturesque setting that will capture your heart, in a secure access-controlled estate. As you enter the house, you'll be greeted by stunning views of the majestic Drakensberg Mountains. One of the highlights of this property is the crystal clear pool. Puddles Cottage

A place all to yourself in the mountains with access to the Spring Grove dam. The kitchen has a microwave, small fridge and a 2 plate stove. There’s a braai on the patio. Comfortable king size bed. The cottage is not huge, but cozy. Wifi is freely available. The cottage is has solar power and gas cooking. A fireplace in the living room will keep you warm on a winter’s night and electric blankets on the beds are in place. The kitchen has a bar sized fridge.

Little Brick Cottage

Situated on a working farm on the outskirts of Mooi River, this quaint, rustic cottage has a bedroom with a very comfortable double bed and en suite shower with toilet. It has a kitchenette and combined living room. The kitchenette contains a fridge, 2 plate gas cooker top and microwave. The cosy living area has a dinky little wood stove that warms the place beautifully on cold nights. It also has a small enclosed garden with a portable braai.

Ibis Self-Catering Unit is situated halfway between Gauteng and the Natal coast. We are the ideal overnight stay for the businessman, traveller, tourist or a couple. Ibis 2 is a one bedroom bachelor unit with twin beds or on request a double bed, an equipped kitchenette (without a stove) and a private entrance. This unit can sleep 2 adults.
