PRIVATE ECO ESTATE: CENTRAL DRAKENSBERG Recently purchased and fully renovated - Grassroots is ready to welcome you! We have designed the house with our guests' happiness at heart. The house is in the exclusive private eco estate - Cathkin Estate, bordering the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site. The estate exceeds 1,000 hectares, with an abundance of free roaming wildlife (zebra, eland, wildebeest, oribi etc) and a host of birds and flora. A dreamy location for any nature lover!

Saligna Dam View Guest House

Beautiful thatched cottage with an extra Rondavel set on our farm in the Northern Drakensberg area. It has its own private garden with lawns down to the edge of the dam. In the corner is a gorgeous private swimming pool to enjoy sundownders in on hot lazy summer evenings or keep the kiddies busy. The pool is safely fenced off. Ideal for a couple or a larger group. Lovely farm holiday for all. Although it can sleep 10 comfortably it is perfect for a cosy get away for just two. You will love it.

Please note that the property is remote and the last 200m of the access road will require a high clearance vehicle.

A beautiful sunny home close to town but down a quiet street, with stunning views of the local mountains. The house has been recently built and has everything needed to make it a home away from home. It has large living areas, separate kitchen, full bathroom with walk in shower, toilet and large bathtub and a guest bathroom. the cottage is a close 300m walk to the main town square and is decorated in modern African style, perfect treat for a couples weekend away in Clarens!

Safe and convenient for single female travelers with manager living next door. No charge for children/elderly parent sleeping on lounge bed if accompanied by both parents.

This unique place has a style all its own. One bedroom en-suite apartment joined to a main house with self catering facilities. The living area is heated by a wood burning fire place and the bedroom en-suite has an air conditioner. Braai facilities on site as well as a Smart TV with DSTV and WiFi. Two to three kms from the centre of town, on a mountain side. It is the bottom level of a three storey house but completely private and not affected by loadshedding.

It is a haven for children and families who wish to get out of the city for a few 10 guests, and no more than 8 adults. The house is fully serviced, maid and manager, included in the price. There is a jetty to moor a boat and slipway to launch a boat. Self catering.
