Langahlid cottages are set along the left side of Seydisfjordur Fiord just a couple of km from the town Center. Our Cottages are 53 squared meters each and can guest up to six people. Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

Gestshús er bjart og hlýlegt sumarhús með hjónarúmi og einu stöku rúmi. Í húsinu er eldhúseining ásamt öllu sem þarf til einfaldrar eldunar, baðherbergi með sturtu og gullfallegt útsýni niður að Lagarfljóti. Bílastæði er rétt utan við dyrnar og gott aðgengi að húsinu. Gestshús er tilvalið í slökun frá borginni og við mælum með að setjast á pallinn með kaffibolla, góða bók og njóta.

The cottage is located near the owner’s farm with lovely views over the nearby stream to the mountains behind. It is around 12 Km from Egilsstaðir and is well situated for exploring the spectacular nature of East Iceland. The farm offers horse riding.

Newly renovated building set in the fjord of Seyðisfjörður, 7 km away from the town centre. The house was a school in the older days but has now been given a modern design with beautiful views and the feeling of being away from everything.
