Quiet Guesthouse near Downtown Des Moines

This unique space, just a block away from Puget Sound, provides the feel of woodsy seclusion with convenient access to Des Moines Marina, Normandy Beach Park, and SeaTac airport. Watch your head! The angled ceiling upstairs is low, but even our tallest guests can enjoy the coziness of the loft bedroom. Centrally located between Seattle and Tacoma (25 minutes each), with Angle Lake Light Rail train station near by, for low cost travel to Seattle’s downtown attractions.

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath Cabin

The Fox Den is a stand-alone cabin, located in a quiet neighborhood on Fox Island. It's a 1-minute drive, or 10 minute walk to the public beach (Fox Island Sand Spit) *Update* The Fox Island Sandspit Park, will be closed for maintenance on September 22, 2025 and reopen by December 1, 2025. The Fox Island Fishing Pier is still open. (12-minute drive from the Fox Den) Dogs: Up to 1 well behaved dog, is allowed with extra pet fee of $25 per stay. (No Cats Please)

Moore, developer and builder of The Moore Theatre in Seattle…open concept loft space has been elegantly restored and remodeled to feature every modern amenity…

Marvelous Guest Suite Shoreline with Parking

Enjoy Shoreline while staying in our private guest suite! You will enjoy the privacy of this suite. There is a private entrance and reserved parking is within steps of your door. We are the main residents with the suite on the ground floor of our townhouse. It is a 5-10 min walk to the 185th Light rail station. (Refer to other details to note for specifics). If you need recommendations for restaurants or other fun activities please do not hesitate to ask me.

This historically restored location offers homemade sourdough pizza from the imported Italian pizza oven as well as salads, paninis, beer, wine and some basic grocery staples.
