Birkifell winter cabin

A small and cozy cabin in the quiet of the countryside, just under a mountain with a beautiful glacier as it's neighbor. With two bedrooms, one double bed and two single beds, dining and sitting area, with t.v and free wifi, well equipt kitchen. Large patio with outdoor furniture and bbq. Ideal for a quiet holiday in the countryside with beautiful hiking grounds, a geothermal hot tubs a short walk away and nature all around, and spectacular view of the northen lights during winter.

Mosi Hut

Escape to a small, cozy cabin nestled among pseudo craters near Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A warm and brand new house that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). It is 56m2 in size and is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom and then an open space where you have a fully equipped kitchen and living room with big windows and breathtaking view. We are 15 km from the main road and the house is in a peaceful place with beautiful mountain surroundings.

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

Small Cozy Cabin just 5km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur town. Nearly in the middle between Vik (Reynisfjara) and Jokulsarlon (Glacier lagoon) The cabin is in a unique landscape called Pseudo Craters. "Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

A small but cosy apartment on the lower floor. Very close to Skaftafell, a national park(10min drive). A very popular tourist area. Close to Vatnajökull and Öræfajökull, 40 min drive from Jökulárlón(Diamond beach). 70km east of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, 130km west of Höfn(small and beutiful town).

In Fljótsdal next to the farm Hóll in Norðurdalur is Hólshýsi. A cosy cottage that is surrounded by endless adventures and sounds of nature and wildlife. Close to countless highlights such as Hengifoss, Hallormstaður, the Wilderness Center and Laugarfell.

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
