Historic farmhouse from 1864, centrally located between the Veluwe forests, heaths and sand drifts and the Veluwemeer the lake surrounding the new land of the polders. Enjoy the space, nature, tranquility and old fishing villages, while cities such as Zwolle, Amersfoort and Amsterdam are easily accessible. The house is equipped with every comfort and a large garden is available for the guests. We have room for 1-6 guests. We do serve an extensive and as much as possible organic breakfast.

Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

De boekenkast staat vol met boeken en spelletjes. In het leuke Voorthuizen is van alles te doen, dus naast rust is er veel vertier te vinden in de omgeving.

De centrale ligging maakt het tevens een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor bijvoorbeeld een bezoek aan hanzestad Harderwijk of Elburg, sauna&wellnessresort de Zwaluwhoeve, en Walibi Holland. Het appartement bevindt zich op een kleinschalig chaletpark in het buitengebied van Soest in de natuur: midden in het bos en vlakbij Soestduinen.

The lodge is located on a peaceful and quiet park called Reewold and is situated on a 5 minute walk away from 2 of the oldest forests in the Netherlands. Our lodge is designed to relax and unwind
