Our place is a unique architectural designed passive solar, straw bale home with recycled native wood and natural clay finish. Enjoy the warmth, peaceful feel and views of the beautiful Maraetotara valley and relax in the natural spring water hot tub. The 30 sqm studio is located within the main house, has a separate entrance, private deck and parking with EV charger. A walk to the river mouth weather permitting and depending on tides is where you will experience 7000 year old Totara Tree stumps . There are amazing rock formations at the mouth of the Kaiwhata river also. In evening you can relax under the night sky in the private spa pool which is right outside you door.
