St Mark's School

Relax and unwind in this beautiful converted 1880s school. Plenty of original school features are still on display. Situated 15mins drive from the royal Welsh show ground in Builth, 15mins from Rhayader and the Elan Valley, 15mins from Spa town Llandrindod wells, just over an hour to Aberystwyth and west coast beaches, it is the ideal location! The house sits on the edge of a forestry leading up a hill with stunning views and lots of dog friendly walks/bike rides. Ideal for fishing in the Wye!

Laburnum Cottage, Kington: on Welsh borders

Laburnum Cottage is a modernised annexe - see photos. Situated just outside Kington (at the bottom of a steep lane below Kington Golf Course) in the heart of walking country. We are close to Welsh border towns too. For walking - historic Offa’s Dyke is a few fields away. Penrhos Gin and British Cassis tours are near. Weobley and Brilley (where the film Hamnet was filmed) and Hay-on-Wye (book festival) are all a 20-minute drive away. Train stations are: Leominster or Hereford. Walkers welcome.

Secluded hut surrounded by woodland

The Stone Hut is in a very secluded spot surrounded by woods. It has two rooms, one is the bedroom which has a double bed and the other room has an unusual cast iron wood burner with two cooking rings and a kitchen area. There is an outside shower hut and a compost loo which is all for your own private use. There is no electric so you will need to get the fire going to boil the kettle.We provide a coolbox for keeping food cool, and provide ice packs. Please note, only one well behaved dog.

With its separate entrance, own parking space and sole use of riverside patio, it truly is a place to relax after a busy day exploring the area.

The Bothy- unique private space near Hay On Wye

The Bothy is a unique small hideaway 5 miles from the famous book town of Hay on Wye and directly on the Wye Valley Walk. Set amongst the rolling hills of Mid-Wales. A beautiful and spacious bell tent with a king size bed, a comfy sofa bed and a log burner. On a decking in between a kitchen hut with a front porch and a bathroom hut (compost toilet/shower) next to a wood fired hot tub. A secluded spot in your own field. We are in the heart of Welsh farming land surrounded by farms so please do expect to hear working dogs, cow hearding or even a spot of late night combine harvesting in the area.

The Stable

The Stable is a beautiful and unique cottage located on the Isle of Anglesey just a few minutes away from the famous Blue Flag beach at Newborough. There is free parking on site and gorgeous views from the stunning gable end window.The main room upstairs has amazing features including views across the surrounding countryside, an open plan ensuite bath tub and rustic stone walls. Downstairs there is a kitchen and dining area with a separate loo and wash basin.
